Susan Sandhoff is Australian born and educated. Susan was awarded her combined degree of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at University of Queensland in 1990, and acquired legal training in Australia before relocating to Switzerland.
Susan was engaged as Immigration Office Manager of Department of Home Affairs (Home Affairs) at Australian Consulate in Bern, Switzerland.
Susan’s legal training in Australia and first-hand experience as both Immigration Officer and registered migration agent stands her in good stead to provide an excellent immigration advisory service. Susan speaks German and English.
Under Australian law, a person providing immigration assistance in Australia must be a legal practitioner or be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA). OMARA is an office of the Australian Immigration authority, Home Affairs.
Requirements for registration with OMARA include citizenship, sound knowledge of migration law, English language proficiency, professional indemnity insurance, national police check, professional library including all Australian legislation relating to visa procedure.
Registered migration agents are subject to a “Code of Conduct” which requires agents to keep their knowledge of Australian migration legislation up to date and to provide accurate, ethical and timely advice to clients.

Susan is a registered migration agent since 1997 and regularly attends migration seminars in Australia to maintain her knowledge of Australian migration law and procedures. Susan is an active member of professional associations, Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance. Susan holds accreditation as a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) since 2010 and works with a team of Australian and Swiss university graduates to assist international students to enrol in courses of study at university, vocational institutions, secondary / primary schools as well as English language centres .
